Welcome to Stallings United Methodist Church Website!
It is my pleasure to introduce you to the most welcoming church in North Carolina. Among the faces found in this website and our church, you will find people from all walks of life with one common goal. We are Scriptural, as expressed by the way we live out our worship and confront the attitudes held within our surrounding communities. As we praise God, gather for Sunday school studies, Biblical Covenant groups, and fellowship, we identify and find solace with those of the first Christian church of Acts. We are mission minded and disciples of the Lord, people who see ourselves as having a clear inside and outside, much like the congregation of the Church of Acts, which defined itself as a witnessing church.
As you glance through this website, you will find a people of courage, strength, and skills to communicate God's Good News within a world in need of Christ. Worship, study and fellowship with us and you will soon discover that the people found within Stallings United Methodist are a congregation in care of and for each other, that base our lives on the foundational truth of God's Word. What is most encouraging about this committed church, is that there is great potential for empowering laity as the body of Christ for Christ's Kingdom work inside and outside of the church.
I am encouraged to be part of a people that base their very existence on the Gospel truth, people willing to be remolded into disciples, ready and eager to become bearers of the Good News to the surrounding communities.
It has been said that, "People cannot get to know Jesus unless someone tells them." We are a group of committed Christians that are striving to follow Jesus' Great Mandate, not to make converts, but to "make disciples" (Matt. 28:19-20) and then to "care for" (John 21:16-17) these new disciples.
Allow me to offer an invitation to you and your family to become part of the friendliest church in North Carolina. You are invited, as brothers and sisters of Christ, to become a vital element of this church, who are daily becoming more mature in our faiths and our calls for making disciples of others. Contemporary Worship Service
Our new Worship Service, known as "Celebration of Christ at 6:00pm" or "COC@6" will begin gathering in the Sanctuary. Looking forward to 2008, you can expect the Contemporary "Celebration of Christ at 6:00pm" worship services to take place the FIRST and THIRD SATURDAY evenings of each month. Come celebrate our Lord in this relaxed, but Holy Spirit inspired Worship, where the Body of Christ gathers to praise our Lord.
Second Sunday Service of Healing
Most Second Sundays of each month we proudly offer an Intimate Worship Service of Healing and Holy Communion during the 8:30am Worship hour and a Service of (Altar) Prayer and Preaching during the 10:55am Worship hour.

The Stallings UMW offer a full range of catering services. Each event is designed to meet your specific needs.
