Now in his 7th year at Stallings UMC, Scott is in his 11th year in Music Ministry. The first directing position he held was a volunteer choir director with 4 choir members at Historic Sardis UMC, the oldest Methodist church in Atlanta and the third oldest Methodist church in the state of Georgia. While living in the Atlanta area, he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting from Kennesaw State University.
While at Stallings UMC, the Music Ministry has grown from three choirs to nine different choirs and ensembles, including three handbell choirs, two praise teams, three choirs (Chancel, Youth, Children), and a praise band.
Scott is married to Robin (Children & Youth Director) and they have a daughter Chelsea who is active in church, school, and community activities.
