People often question the truth of the scriptures recorded in the Bible until they begin participating in a life changing community.  What do I mean by a life changing community? A life changing community consists of persons who know what it means to face harsh realities. A life changing community is made up of followers of Jesus Christ who embody his teachings in authentic ways.  A life changing community cheers on new sisters and brothers encouraging one another to receive the healing and wholeness God makes available to us.  Participants of  life changing communities often find themselves making comments like: “I never knew the depths of loving, compassion, and belonging I experience now were possible until I entered into fellowship with this group of new sisters and brothers.  It’s not that we’re perfect.  It’s that we don’t have to be afraid to let each other know who we really are.  We accept the realization that each of us is not only on a journey of healing.  We are part of one another’s healing.
